Spring House Chef/Partner Timothy Grandinetti will host the annual outdoor grillfest that celebrates the culinary talents of both local and nationally-renowned Chefs. Each evening during Sweet Summer Luv Luv, guests will enjoy multi-course tasting menus and “hot-off-the-grill” specialties that are planned, prepared and served by an all-star cadre of visiting Chefs.
Additions to this year’s festival are nightly ticket upgrades that include The “Belly of the Beast” Chef’s Table.
Now touted as Winston-Salem’s most creative culinary event, Dr. Brownstone’s Sweet Summer Luv Luv Festival was originally launched in St. Louis, Missouri during the summer of 2010 by Chef Timothy Grandinetti, (aka Dr. Brownstone), now Chef/Partner of Spring House Restaurant, Kitchen & Bar. His original goal was to bring friends together ~ Chefs, Farmers and Artisan Producers ~ to create, to cook, and to celebrate the bonds of “culinary brotherhood.” The result is a week-long festival of deliciously creative food, cooked and served “al fresco” by acclaimed Chefs hailing from throughout the US and Canada.

WHAT IS THE SWEET SUMMER LUV LUV FESTIVAL?
Now touted as Winston-Salem’s most creative culinary event, Sweet Summer Luv Luv Festival was originally launched in St. Louis, Missouri during the Summer of 2010, by Chef Timothy Grandinetti, Chef/Partner of Spring House Restaurant, Kitchen & Bar (aka, Dr. Brownstone!).
His original goal was simple: to bring his friends together ~ Chefs, Farmers and Artisan Producers ~ to create, to cook, and to celebrate the bonds of “culinary brotherhood.” The results were stunning and delicious ~ so much so, that Chef Tim decided that he should open up the “Grill-Fest” to folks who love fresh, innovative cuisine presented personally by the Chefs who create it.
The result is a week-long showcase of delicious food, cooked “al fresco” by renowned Chefs, a “gourmet cook-out” presented each evening here at Spring House Restaurant, Kitchen & Bar, in Downtown Winston-Salem.

The 2017 Festival runs Thursday, August 10th through Saturday, August 12th at Spring House Restaurant, Kitchen & Bar, in Downtown Winston-Salem.
Each evening, dinner begins at 6:30pm, an uber-talented visiting Chef will plan, prepare, and serve his/her multi-course tasting menu that showcases “hot-off-the-grill” specialties. Also, each evening begins with a “Lemonade and Whiskey” Mix & Mingle on the Spring House Terrace and Patio at 5:30pm.
We highly suggest early reservations ~ limited seating is in our tented Pavilion on the Lawn Terrace. The Cooking Arena is on view and adjacent to the Pavilion, making for a great Pre-Meal Show!

ONLY 10 AMAZING seats are available per night for “The Belly of The Beast” Chef’s Table. Be in the middle of the action! Choose this new option to be seated at a table in the midst of the Chef’s Cooking Arena ~ where several “special courses” will be served for the ultimate tasting experience.
