The Main Dining Room
Sited in the home’s original dining room, this gracious space seats up to 24 people, and will be primarily used as seating for restaurant patrons, however, it may also be reserved for private functions. It features a historically renovated original fireplace, French doors, and a 12 foot coffered ceiling graced with original plaster moldings.
The Magnolia Room
Originally the home’s parlor, this intimately-scaled room has lovely windows looking out onto the front patio and lawn. The room features original plaster wall moldings. It seats up to 20 people and may be reserved for private events.
The Sun Porch
Lined completely by the home’s original leaded windows, the Sun Porch is a casual and comfortable dining space that may be reserved for private events. French doors step out onto the Lawn Terrace, making it the perfect space for combination indoor and outdoor events. It seats up to 40 people in a variety of seating arrangements, but can be expanded to serve over 100 people with a variety of outdoor tenting options.
The Library Bar
This dramatic space pays tribute to the home’s former use as offices for the Forsyth County Public Library. The focal point of the space is one of the home’s original fireplaces, and 12 ft. ceilings with original dentil moldings. Easy access to the Lawn Terrace and comfortable cocktail seating makes this a perfect gathering place before and after a meal, meeting, or event.
The Board Room
This upstairs room is ideal for groups desiring privacy and full-service amenities for their meeting or event. A large 16ft x 8ft board table seating 22 people centers the room, which can also be set up classroom style. The room’s technology features a 70-inch flat-screen television which can be used as a presentation board; Wi-Fi connectivity, and telephone conferencing capabilities. Functional windows fitted with black-out blinds make this room suitable for corporate retreats, conferences and meetings; however it may be used for social functions as well. In-room food and beverage service is available, or clients may choose break-outs and meal service in alternate rooms.
The Dogwood Room
A cozy former bedroom, this room is the ideal setting for smaller, more intimate special events, with seating up to a maximum of 10 people at one large round, or as three separate rounds seating up to 18 guests.
The Bahnson Room
Sited in the former Master Bedroom, the Bahnson Room features an original fireplace with a rose marble surround, soaring ceilings and beautiful natural lighting streaming through functional windows. This ideal private dining or meeting space has flexibility for multiple set-ups, including rounds seating up to 30 people, four-tops, classroom, lecture, or boardroom style seating. This room also accommodates break-outs and meal service for guests utilizing the Board Room.
